Use case: net-new outbound

Outbound a person would sign, at a scale a team cannot hold.

Net-new outbound fails two ways: too little of it, or too much of it careless. Midsummer writes grounded first messages to accounts that fit, each approved by a person before it leaves.

How does Midsummer run net-new outbound? It reads each target account, finds the reason this account matters now, and drafts a first message grounded in that reason: their news, their words, their timing. Every message waits for a person's approval, so volume never turns into spray.

The trade that breaks outbound

Every team faces the same trade: personalization or volume. Personal wins replies and eats the day; volume fills the top of funnel and burns the domain and the list. The trade exists because reading an account properly takes twenty minutes nobody has fifty times a day.

Read first, then write

Midsummer reads each target account before it writes: what the company does, what changed, why your product matters to them now. The first message is about them, in words that survive a second read, and it waits for a person's approval before it leaves. The reading is what scales; the judgment stays human.

The domain is an asset

Sending reputation compounds like interest, in both directions. The department sends at the pace a good domain allows, grounded and sparse, and an unsubscribe is honored instantly and permanently. Your domain is treated as the asset it is, because there is no second one.

Questions about net-new outbound

How is this different from a sequencer?

A sequencer sends what your team loads into it. Midsummer reads each account and writes the message, then your team approves it. The difference is where the reading and writing happen, and it shows in the reply quality.

What volume should we expect?

As much as your team can honestly approve. The department is not rate-limited, but your brand is, so the working pace is set with you and kept at a level where every message earns its send.

Does it protect our sending domain?

Yes, by construction: grounded messages, sparse pace, instant and permanent unsubscribes, and a person approving every send. Reputation problems come from spray, and spray is exactly what the approval step removes.

What do we need to start?

The target list and the outcome you want. Midsummer reads, drafts, and prepares; your team approves and takes the meetings.
